What is challenge??
“something that needs great mental or physical effort in order to be done successfully and therefore tests a person's ability.”
Challenges are part of each and everyone’s life. In my opinion Challenges are an opportunities. If you don’t find any challenges in your way of life, that means you are not growing. You just need to try to convert those challenges in opportunities.
Every human being on the earth is facing challenges in every stages of life. Challenges comes in different form for different people .Whether you are a child or a teenager or a adult or an old age person, you have to face different challenges in each stages of life. You have to keep yourself positive to face each and every challenge comes in your way.
There are many successful people in the history that had faced lots of challenges before they became successful. All of them had few things in common.
· Never give up attitude,
· Positive attitude,
· Ability of handling criticism.
Let’s have a look on few of the examples of those successful people who had faces lot many challenges before they became successful.
The Wright brothers (Orville & Wilbur)were two American aviation pioneers generally credited with inventing, building, and flying the world's first successful motor-operated airplane . They made the first controlled, sustained flight of a powered, heavier than aircraft with the wright flyer on December 17, 1903.In 1904-05, the brothers developed their flying machine to make longer-running and more aerodynamic flights with the wright flyer 2, followed by the first truly practical fixed wing aircraft the wright flyer 3. The Wright brothers were also the first to invent aircraft control that made fixed-wing powered flight possible.
This is one of the biggest inventions on that era. Before that started to work on their dream project, they had to face lots of challenges & criticism on their idea to make airplane. Even after getting challenges they never stopped and kept on working on their dream till they got desired result.
Henry Ford was an American industrialist and business magnate, founder of the Ford Motor Company and chief developer of the assembly line technique of mass production. By creating the first automobile that middle-class Americans could afford, he converted the automobile from an expensive curiosity into an accessible conveyance that would profoundly impact the landscape of the 20th century.
He was the person who believed in hard work and had never gives up attitude. He and his engineer kept on working on the design of the car till they got the desired result. After trying hundreds of time and facing many challenges, his engineer started telling him that, it is impossible to design it, but he was the one who take this challenges as an opportunity and backed them up to work even harder to get desired result.
Napoleon Bonaparte was a French statesman and military leader who became famous as an artillery commander during the French Revolution. He led many successful campaigns during the French Revolutionary Wars and was Emperor of the French as Napoleon I from 1804 until 1814 and again briefly in 1815 during the Hundred Days. Napoleon dominated European and global affairs for more than a decade while leading France against a series of coalitions during the Napoleonic Wars. He won many of these wars and a vast majority of his battles, building a large empire that ruled over much of continental Europe before its final collapse in 1815. He is considered one of the greatest commanders in history, and his wars and campaigns are studied at military schools worldwide. Napoleon's political and cultural legacy has made him one of the most celebrated and controversial leaders in human history.
He was the leader who believed in taking challenges as an opportunity and work hard till the time he won. His power came from his dedication and attitude towards challenges which came in front of him in each stage of his life.
Thomas Alva Edison was an American inventor and businessman who have been described as America's greatest inventor. He developed many devices in fields such as electric power generation, mass communication, sound recording, and motion pictures. These inventions, which include the phonograph, the motion picture camera, and the long-lasting, practical electric light bulb, have had a widespread impact on the modern industrialized world. He was one of the first inventors to apply the principles of organized science and teamwork to the process of invention, working with many researchers and employees. He established the first industrial research laboratory.
He was the person who was called crazy by the people around him. His positive attitude and dedication were the strong reasons to make him successful. He took all the challenges positively and kept on working. He believed himself and converted all the challenges into opportunities.
